Mr. Donohue offered us a great value since he was working in the neighborhood. The driveway was not done to our expectations. We complained to Mr Donohue and he professionally offered us fair compensation. I can honestly say, Mr Donohue stands behind his work. If you are unhappy he will make it right!

The day after the driveway was completed we noticed part of the asphalt in a small section did not look right. John Donohue and his crew happened to be doing driveways in my neighborhood. Before they packed up and went home, I received a knock on my door and it was John. He told me he had just finished doing a neighbors driveway and asked if I was interested before he left.

I told him that if he can agree to do it for a discounted price then I was all in. John agreed to my price and the work began. He recommended a seal coating and a thorough finish of my entire driveway. My driveway had a ton of cracks that needed to be dealt with.

John and his crew were able to seal up everything. And I mean everything. There's nothing but smooth asphalt now. For what I paid and for how convenient it was(never even had to schedule an appointment or go through the hassle of price shopping) I think this was a great route for me.

John and his team did an amazing job on our driveway. His estimate came in at $1,200 to seal coat our driveway because it was small and didn't require a full layer. I think his pricing was fair and he was genuine from the start.

I was surprised to read some of these other reviews, saying he is rude. I didn't have the same experience with John. He was well mannered, personable, and straight to the point. I appreciate a direct approach, but maybe it's not for everybody?

I highly recommend John Donohue & his family & crew for a perfect paving job & fixing long-term problems in any driveway. I had dug up, graded, & paved my driveway 3 times over the past 15 years. The rain caused my driveway to sink in certain places. I had two holes & no matter what I did, no one could fix them. John's son identified the problem & fixed it. He diverted the gutter hose away from the house & driveway & now the water doesn't gather in the driveway to cause it to sink. It was so wonderful & easy to deal with John, his sons, & his crew. When I called him, he came out the next day, gave me the estimate, & started work the same week. They tore up all the damaged areas, filled up the holes, & repaved. My driveway is smooth as velvet. John's crew were very professional & cleaned up perfectly before they left. After receiving recommendations from several neighbors who have had their driveways recapped over the past few years (and their driveways are still in good shape), several more neighbors and I got together to coordinate having our driveways recapped. I think we got a really good deal based on estimates I'd gotten in the past. He came the day he promised, they were done in a few hours. They didn't collect payment until the day after the job was complete (and before we he did it he told me we didn't pay until we were happy). He says it comes with a 2 year guarrantee. Most contractors give 30/60/90 or 1 year warranties.
